Whistle & Flute Clothing: a Fairy Tale

This is a fairy tale. About clothes for boys. Stay with me here.

Once upon a time, there was a fashion design student and care aid worker named Miranda. One day, Miranda met Ryan, a screen printer and graphic designer.

Let's skip ahead: Miranda and Ryan had a son, an adorable baby named Aki. They started making him t-shirts with insanely cute designs on them. Their friends were jealous, and wanted Aki's shirts for their own children. Luckily, no one in this story is evil.

Miranda and Ryan used their savings to start Whistle & Flute Clothing. They worked out of their home during naps and after bedtimes, producing the kawaii unisex shirts for everyone in the kingdom.

Meanwhile, in Calgary, a writer (me!) was desperately wishing for a fairy godmother to bring her something cute (but not effeminate) to put on her son. Her wish was finally granted when she discovered Whistle & Flute on Instagram.

Miranda and Ryan sent the writer some shirts to review, and they were the CUTEST and SOFTEST things she had ever put on her son. Her daughter loved them, too! All was finally well in the kingdom, the end.

Need a gift for a child in your life? Here's why you should buy something from Whistle & Flute:

1) Insanely cute unisex designs.

2) SOFT SOFT shirts, made of cotton spun from unicorn hair (I'm just guessing).

3) Made in Canada.

4) Made by an indie business. Composed of two parents. Who baby-wear while they work!

5) I have a discount code for you! Use the code BESTBIRTHDAYS to get 10% off your order!

In order to get my kids to model, I only had to bribe them with ice cream twice!

Full Disclosure: Whistle & Flute gave me these shirts so that I could review them. This obviously made me inclined to like them, but they really are SO AWESOME. Proof: I painted the picture below for my son's nursery two years ago. Clearly, I am into the Whistle & Flute aesthetic.
