REALLY Easy Easter Party Ideas

Since I had kids, our year has become a continuous cycle of holidays. When New Year's is over, we start making Valentine crafts. On February 15th, we switch to Easter.

This makes winter less depressing. It's 30 below, but look - chocolate!

This year, we had some of the kids' friends over for an "Easter party." That's in quotations because it literally involved almost no effort on my part.

First of all, think about how excited your kids get for the egg hunt on Easter morning. When they search with their friends, it's even better! Don't forget your earplugs, because the shrieking also increases exponentially with added children.

Honestly, I'm so happy I thought of this. The kids were all incredibly excited, and it took almost zero effort to set up.

If you feel that the kids might need even more sugar, try these Mini Egg Rice Krispie Squares or Creme Egg Rice Krispie Squares. They are probably the best things I've ever eaten.

After the kids were sufficiently sugared up, I printed some egg shapes for them to paint.

For decoration, I threw some Mini Eggs in a vase. BAM, it's festive in here AND I have snacks.

So all I did was buy a lot of candy, make some Rice Krispie squares, and print some egg shapes. It was do-able even for me, and I am very lazy. But the kids LOVED it. Now I can ignore them and look at my phone for the rest of the day! I've earned it.
